When you export something you're taking information to a different place. When importing you're bring information from a different place. On that note, it's safe to say that one of the few similarities is that they both deal with the travel of info whether it's bring it home, or, taking it out.seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-33715366834429654422010-04-30T08:59:00.000-07:002010-04-30T08:59:44.701-07:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.16--Half way there, Benchmark. In Itc essentials we are discussing smart phones and their uses for school. I think this is an honorable idea worth thought and discussion but I'm against it personally. The main reason i'm against it is because though children say they will their phones for school work, how many of them actually will? There are many pluses for its use but there are also many minuses.

In a full class of high school students, a teacher just finished posting an assiment online for student to complete during class time. Even though the assisment was given, and students are online on their phones, how many of them will be doing the work.? It's easy to distract the teenage mind with things like facebook, and viral videos online.
In Itc essentials we are discussing smart phones. I think that mobile learning is the next step in learning. If we could learn while we are on the go I think we could actually learn more. If people would use all the idle time they had in a day to learn, they would be way more intelligent then they are now. I would recommend mobile learning for the simple fact that people bring their cell phones to school anyway. Making them learning tools would only be better in the student's case.seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-35184018122805440842010-03-18T08:30:00.000-07:002010-03-18T08:57:30.390-07:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.12--The Perfect Tool.?If I could use any computing device for learning in school it would be an device made by my own hands. An easy way to tell if something is more fact than opinion is to ask yourself, "Was this source given by a reliable industrial corporation." By checking to see if the source was given by a reliable company, you reassure your info and yourself. seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-83571655221772912172010-03-11T09:01:00.000-08:002010-03-11T09:01:35.467-08:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.9--Credit Where Its Due.In today's time you can find almost anything on the internet. From great works of litterateur, all the way to sites containing irrelevant topics such as, flying cats and thins of the such. With that said, I think its harder to find information because not everything is true. One way you can narrow something down to find info is by using the certain search factors of Google. Like for example, Google-books is a great way to find the info you may want on almost all litterateur. seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-9914644511495916092010-03-09T08:54:00.000-08:002010-03-09T08:54:33.797-08:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.8--Publishing.Publishing is the act of showing off an work, usually literary, to gain publicity. Teens face many dangers on the Internet like online stalkers, child predators, and people wanting to harm them.
2. The net effect makes people think something when actually its more than what they think.
3. I think social media should be used as a means of "keeping up" with each other.
4. They are key because ow you present yourself online should be the same way you resent your self in the real world.
5. All of this means that I should be cautious of the things I do online.seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-47284690553625100762010-02-17T08:33:00.000-08:002010-02-22T08:07:58.948-08:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.4--Snowy Days.
During the school year there are times when children cant make it to school, for what ever reason it might be. When that happens I think the Internet can be a way to teach outside of the classroom. Here in our day and age we use the Internet almost everyday, so why cant teachers post a couple of lessons for students who cant make it.? I think participating in school outside of school should be voluntary.

seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-6087740671487982872010-02-05T08:42:00.000-08:002010-02-05T08:53:24.103-08:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.3--technology.In the present time we use technology for many things. We us it as a way of communication, to heat up food, and a way to sustain life. In the future I think the human race will become to dependent on technology and us it for everything. To travel from room to room and even to sleep. We already have become addicted to the "easy road" it provides us. With more technological discoveries we'll be even more hooked on the life it gives us.

http://soso-sean.blogspot.com/seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-75344304197748561192010-02-04T08:50:00.000-08:002010-02-04T09:04:18.071-08:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.2--responsibility.Responsibility is defined as "a particular burden of obligation upon one who is responsible." Me being responsible for myself in class will make a big difference between an A or an D. This class feels like its more "up to the learner" to learn rather then the traditional ways of teaching where as, the teacher hands you a guide or outline of what you will learn. I believe the teachers will be held to the same obligation to teach but not as much as they use to.seanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18029839918979406772noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2623841316975144608.post-81925918684524072052010-02-03T08:56:00.000-08:002010-02-03T08:58:59.937-08:00S k y T o o H i g h---ep.1--passwords.Passwords are like chains.
